Privacy policy

There are no accounts, forms or newsletters on Dialmark. This page explains the little personal information that does pass through.

Who is responsible

TwoTwoSix Pty Ltd (ABN 42 608 482 506), 7 Roma Parade, Upwey VIC 3158, Australia, publishes Dialmark and decides how information collected through it is used. We handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles, whether or not the Act strictly applies to a business of our size. Contact: info@eminarak.com.

What we collect

Server logs: When you load a page, our web host records technical details: your IP address, browser and device type, the page requested, and the time. This is how any website is delivered and kept secure.
Your storage choice: If you use the cookie box, your answer is saved in your own browser under the name dm_choice. It stays on your device and is not sent to us. See the cookie notice.
Messages: If you email or phone us, we keep what you send, your address or number, and our reply, so we can answer you and check what was said.
Measurement and advertising tags: At the time of writing none is switched on. If one is added, it loads only after you allow it in the cookie box, and the cookie notice will say what it does.

We do not ask for your name, address, payment details or any sensitive information, and we do not sell personal information.

Why we use it

To show you the site, keep it working and protect it from abuse (server logs).
To answer your message and correct our pages (messages).
To count visits or measure whether an advertisement led to a visit, only if you have allowed it (optional tags).

Links to other websites

The button to the seller opens a link on our own address first and then sends you straight to Amazon Australia. We do not store anything at that step beyond the normal server log. Once you are on the seller’s site, its own privacy policy applies, and we have no control over it. Sources linked at the foot of articles are the same: separate websites with their own policies.

Who else handles it

Our web host, Hostinger International Ltd. (61 Lordou Vironos Street, 6023 Larnaca, Cyprus), stores the site and its server logs. That means logs may be processed outside Australia. The site’s typefaces are loaded from Bunny Fonts (fonts.bunny.net), so your browser contacts that service, and it sees your IP address, when a page opens. We do not send your personal information anywhere else, except where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Server logs are kept by the host for a limited period under its own settings. Emails and call notes are kept for as long as needed to deal with your query, and for up to 24 months after the last message, unless the law requires longer. Your cookie-box choice stays in your browser until you change it or clear your browser data.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to info@eminarak.com; we may need to confirm who you are first, and we will reply within a reasonable time, normally within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
